The company introduced the ShingleBoss brand of Fiberglass/Asphalt Shingles.
2023
Matthews and Clarke began distributing solar stone coated roof panels and manufacturing its own galvanized zinc sheets.
2020
Matthews and Clarke introduced industrial sheeting to their product line-up.
2016
Matthews & Clarke began manufacturing metal eave guttering, standing seam metal roofing sheets and tracks and studs in 2016.
2010
Matthews & Clarke began manufacturing their very own brand of metal roofing tile called the SUPERTILE.
1983
The business was moved from Hargreaves Avenue, Mandeville, Manchester to Nashville, Mandeville, Manchester.
1978
The business relocated from Hotel Street, Mandeville, Manchester to Hargreaves Avenue, Mandeville adjacent to the Hargreaves Hospital.
1975
Matthews & Clarke Limited, was asked to reroof the Mandeville Parish Church, with Decramastic Metal Roofing Tiles. Matthews and Clarke was the first roofing company approached to remove the original roofing from the Church, which was then 157 years old at the time of reroofing. It was reroofed with the Decramastic Metal Roofing Tiles.

Matthews & Clarke Limited moved the Kingston branch office to Balmoral Avenue, Kingston.

Matthews & Clarke Limited added a branch office on Norwood Avenue, Kingston

The company was formally registered at the Companies Office of Jamaica in the name of Matthews and Clarke Limited.
1972
The company tiled their first roof belonging to homeowner OB Lewis, located on McKinley Road, Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica.

They eventually moved the business from their home to Hotel Street, Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica, their first official office. That building is now demolished.
1969
Mr Leon Matthews, who was then married to Ms. Rita Clarke (now deceased) ventured into the roofing business as a distributor of the Decramastic Metal Roofing Tiles from his home, which was then located off the Hatfield Main Road, Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica.
